This morning brings with it more April snow and the sad news of Kurt Vonnegut's passing. Though it has been a good long while since I read any of his work, I can vividly recall the feelings evoked by them as a teenager. Their mix of horror, humor and absurdity was both eye-opening and somehow familiar to my adolescent pysche. I will be looking for one of his novels today in homage to the effect he had on this reader. You might like to do the same......
